A friend emailed to ask if I'd like some wool she was going to get rid of, how could I say no? This friend has excellent taste in wool and I was looking forward to her scraps. She turned up with a garbage bag full of skeins! The most beautiful merino, silk and cashmere mixes I've ever seen.
The first project is a crochet blanket, I usually make them for gifts but this time it's going to be for me. I'm using
Madelinetosh hand dyed yarns and the blanket is going to be an enormous granny square, well big enough to fit on my bed. I've made a start...
